Windows 10 Spring Creators: An error in Windows 10 Redstone 4 RTM build (17134) seems to cause serious problems in the Settings application when users try to change the default applications on their systems.
Right now, the bug seems to be quite widespread, but not universal. The problem it does not appear to be in the builds released for Insiders enrolled in the Skip Ahead ring.
The problem also exists in Windows 10 build 17133.1, which was the original RTM build that had been released on all Windows Insider rings. This build was later replaced with 17134, when Microsoft discovered an exclusion error which probably caused BSOD in systems that used it.
But what does this story mean to all Windows 10 users? I will try to answer a question:
Why the new versions of the distribution Debian are running every 3 years? Let's say that this distribution is that more stable is currently running on GNU / Linux, and the basis of many other distributions, including Ubuntu and Mint.
Microsoft is expected to start making Windows 10 Redstone 4 (Windows 10 Spring Creators) publicly available by the end of the month, but has yet to release any official announcement about the date or the name of the update.
Unlike Debian Project just yesterday announced what will happen next 6 years, along with the names of the two upcoming major upgrades of the fixed edition.
With Microsoft, no one knows if Redstone 4 could be released as Spring Creators Update if it is released and finally released if it is stable.
Why The problem has been described in an earlier publication, and it is well known. those of you who have not read it: Does Microsoft Love Us? Why was Windows 10 free?, I suggest you read it.
The occurrence of an error during development of a functional one is normal, and it happens to the best families. But happening on RTM's mood may mean a hurry to growth, slumbering and a couple of others, not at all flattering for a company that holds the lion's share of the global operating system market.
Problems occur frequently and are usually experienced by almost all Windows users who have somewhat different hardware. This error, along with others that are probably less diadata, are expected to be fixed before the new version (Windows 10 Spring Creators) starts rolling out to the public with perhaps a cumulative update rolling out from day one.
In seriously stable systems like Debian, the trial version is more stable than many Linux distributions that are running. This gives developers the right time to repair any defect, so when released the stable version is really stable, and not a roll that can come out can or not.
I use the Debian trial version (Buster) for a long time and there has not been a single problem until now.
Windows vs a rolling release which is closest to as a service. So try distributions like Manjaro or openSUSE Tumbleweed…. The Results once again it will be in favor of Linux.
