In a previous post, we had mentioned that the upcoming update of the Windows,Windows 10 Threshold 2 is scheduled to be released next week. Microsoft is said to have completed the development of this version, before the official release on November 10.
According to a Neowin publication, Microsoft has already completed the development of Windows 10 Threshold 2, called it November update. So the company now controls the distribution system to ensure that the process is completed smoothly for all users.
Windows 10 Threshold 2 will be distributed like any other update, from Windows Update. Unlike new builds of Windows 10 this version will not install the operating system from scratch.
It is worth mentioning that Window 10 Threshold 2 is specifically targeted to RTM users (if we can say RTM), so if you are registered with Windows insider you will not find any new features in this release.
* We mention RTM in quotation marks as the term from the start of Windows as a service does not seem to make sense since the operating system will be under development continuously.
However, those who have installed the supposed RTM of Window 10 (build 10240) will discover several new features, and many improvements that have been made over the last few months.
Microsoft, on the other hand, to make the process faster and easier for everyone, will make the operating system available for pre-installation on all new PCs sold with Windows 10.
The company has not yet confirmed the release date of Window 10 Threshold 2, but we are likely to take it next week with Tuesday's Patch.
