Stop the upgrading to Windows 10

One month has passed (if Microsoft keeps its word) that the prompts for upgrades to Windows 10 will continue to disturb users of older systems.

Although you are also a Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 user, and you are bothered by Microsoft below, we will see a different way to prevent Windows 10 from upgrading.
windows 10 no thanks
Follow the instructions:

Start the Editor u me for regedit.
Follow the route:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Image File Execution Options

Create a new one named GWX.exe by right-clicking on the “Run Options” button image".
With the GWX.exe key selected, right-click in the empty area on the right and select New string.
Name the value 'Debugger' and double-click on it.
In the Debugger Value data, type:

rundll32.exe

Click OK and close Registry Editor.

That's it. Now the Windows 10 Upgrade application should not run on your system even if the update that installs Get Windows 10 (KB3035583) is installed on your computer.

This tweak should work as long as the executable name that starts upgrading to Windows 10 is called GWX.exe. If the file name changes, simply change it to the Registry.

For those who can not follow the steps above, download the .zip and double-click on the file you find inside. The .zip file contains two files, double-clicking Reg to Stop GWX.reg, you apply the above changes, and double-click Reg to Undo Stop GWX and allow it.reg restore your system as before.
