After its release Windows 8.1 Update appeared that Microsoft's intention was simply to justify its failure but on the other hand it was a first informal acceptance that Windows 8 was a big mistake.
While the Windows 8.1 Update came to fix some of the issues that had been recorded by previous builds, the update opened Aeolos' purses. There are hundreds of dissatisfied publications on the company's forums asking for solutions to new problems that have been encountered.
