The extensions για τον Microsoft Edge θα έρθουν σύντομα μέσω ενός αναβαθμισμένου build του Windows 10. Όπως φαίνεται η Microsoft σχεδιάζει να διανέμει τις επεκτάσεις (plugins) και τα πρόσθετα (add-ons) χρησιμοποιώντας το Windows Store just like it does with regular Universal apps.
The first extension in fact, Microsoft Edge has already been spotted in the Windows Store, according to Neowin.
The "Page Analyzer" extension created by Vorlon.js already exists in the Windows Store. It looks like a Windows 10 application, but behaves differently. Once the user installs it, it adds an entry to the Start menu and is registered as a regular application. But when you try to run it, it opens the Edge browser and starts in the browser.
The Page Analyzer extension seems to be created for the web developers. Allows them to test their website performance and Edge compatibility.
Microsoft Exe extensions are expected to be added to the upcoming Insider build. Rumors indicate that extensions are already being tested internally and are almost ready to be released to the public.
