Windows Update comes fix for error 0x800f081f

On March 25, 2021, Microsoft released a new of Windows 10 21H1 in the Beta channel with a single update related to printing graphic content in documents.

Shortly after the update, Insiders began reporting problems with the installation. When you try to install Windows 10 build 19043.906 (KB5000842), Windows Update started showing error 0x800f091f.

In the official Windows blog, Microsoft posted an update to the original post, informing users of the problem.

The company said it would release something for of the problem in the upcoming update. The new fix will be available soon as a cumulative update for Windows 10 21H1, which is under testing in the Windows Insider program.

Microsoft is nearing the final stage of development of the next major Windows 10 update version 21H1 is currently available on all internal channels for validation. As for regular traffic, the announcement will come in a few weeks.

Although it is an "important" update, you should not expect much from the first feature update of 2021. The most important in Windows 10 21H1 is multi-camera support for Windows Hello.

The lack of new features in Windows 10 21H1 does not mean that Microsoft has given up on its flagship product. We will see many more changes with the release of Windows 10 in the second half of 2021.
