Versions prior to WordPress 4.2.3 are affected by a critical vulnerability cross-site scripting, which could allow attackers to compromise a site.
The vulnerability was reported by Jon Cave of the WordPress Security Team, and was corrected by Robert Chapin.
An issue was also stabilized that allowed a Subscriber user to create Draft through Quick Draft.
