Η version 5.4.2 of WordPress web application fixes some security issues and solves 23 problems.
Η new edition κυκλοφόρησε χθες αργά το βράδυ και επιδιορθώνει πέντε θέματα ασφαλείας που επηρεάζουν την εφαρμογή WordPress από την έκδοση 5.4 αλλά και προηγούμενες εκδόσεις. Η έκδοση 5.4.2 τα επιδιορθώνει γι αυτό θα πρέπει να ενημερώσετε άμεσα. Αν δεν είστε ακόμα στην έκδοση 5.4, κυκλοφορούν updates and for versions from tin 5.3 and earlier, which fix the same security issues.
The security vulnerabilities that were fixed were three XSS, one open redirect and one in the set-screen-option which could lead to privilege escalation.
In addition to the above, the new version also fixes 22 bugs that were present in the core and default files themes. For more see note.
