On the occasion of completing 10 years of participation of Greece, as a full member state, to the European Space Agency / ESA (EuropeanSpaceAgency/ESA), the General Secretariat for Research & Technology (GSRT), the Collaborative Formation of Space Technologies & Applications (si-cluster), the Association of Space Technology and Applications Industries (EVICE) and the Unit Corallia of the EC Athena, Organize the Networking Conference of the Greek Space Industryon Tuesday, 14 July 2015, 09: 00-17: 00, at the Dais Cultural Center in Maroussi.
The aim of the Conference is to meet and network with all Greek entities that are active or want to be active in the rapidly developing space sector, with the ultimate goal of investigating capabilities pluswork both inside and outside the activities of the EOD.
The event is addressed to the entire Greek industry and the academic and research institutions of the country with objects related to the space sector, regardless of their previous experience, their potential or their participation in the above collective bodies.
In the framework of the Seminar, the participants will make short presentations of their activities, and then there will be time for constructive discussions, bilateral and multilateral meetings and networking.
Indicatively, related objects to the space domain are:
- Microelectronics (integrated circuits, sensors, etc.)
- Advanced materials and structures
- Advanced methods partreatmentand energy storage
- Systems and applications ground stations
- Robotics and automation
- Telecommunications and integrated applications
- Software development for shipments and satellite applications
- Earth observation services and applications
