Η OPSWAT released the results of a survey showing the share market of antivirus worldwide.
According to the company, the Avast! Free Antivirus continues to head in the list of the chart with market share of 19,6%, while the Microsoft Security Essentials comes soon after with an 17,2%.
Microsoft's software, however, appears to protect a very large number computers worldwide.
The Windows Defender, which is installed by default in Windows 8 and 8.1, is in the third place with 7,8%.
"Ten products occupy 72,1% of the market," says OPSWAT.
