WPEngine - StudioPress: The news is amazing, at least for those who use its services WPEngine. The web hosting company with WordPress, bought StudioPress an equally large company in the WordPress space. 
The purchase includes the genesis Framework, StudioPress Themes and the new StudioPress Sites service.
WP Engine is the provider of the hosting company that uses iGuRu.gr and as you already know, we also use the Genesis Framework with a custom made theme, to suit our needs. WP Engine has long supported all open source development efforts including WordPress. The company is considered one of the best and safest in the area. So around 80.000+ customers from 135 countries they use it platform and are happy with their service.
Starting in the Fall, WPEngine will offer free Genesis themes to its customers at no extra cost.
For those unfamiliar with the Genesis Framework, it is one of the most popular themes framework in the world. It provides a basic theme enhanced for better SEO, interoperability and modularity and lets developers add design, layouts, enhancements for better performance, and whatever else they want.
It is not like the themes of Themeforest, that among the pile there may be some remarkable. The Genesis Framework does not have complex processes but ensures security and quality by letting developers create what they imagine in a clean environment. It faithfully follows the KISS philosophy from Keep It Simple Stupid.
