Xiaomi Mi 6: According to the latest rumors, Xiaomi's next big smartphone, Mi 6, will be released in early February. It is not yet clear when it will be released on the market, but we can assume it will originally be released in China.
The Mydrive says the Mi 6 will be launched in the same price that launched the Mi 5, which means we'll see it on the shelves for anywhere from $360 to $435, depending on the hardware.
The same source reports that Xiaomi made a benchmark at AnTuTu and Mi 6 broke all the records by reaching 210.329 points.
The previous smartphone to score higher on AnTuTu was the iPhone 7 Plus with a score of 183.106 points.
The first Android smartphone to benchmark AnTuTu was the OnePlus 3T, which was recently released on the market with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The Chinese device managed to reach 163.578 points in AnTuTu.
We should mention that Mi 6 is Xiaomi's first smartphone to be equipped with the rugged Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
Unfortunately, we have not learned any other details with the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 except since its introduction to AnTuTu.
The Snapdragon 835 chipset was officially announced last year, but Qualcomm gave more details about CPU performance a few days ago at CES 2017.
Qualcomm's processor is expected to power all the high-end smartphones that will hit the market this year, or at least several of them. It has the new Quick charging technology Charge 4 from Qualcomm and eight Kryo 240 cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be equipped with the same chipset.
