The yareoid with its built-in standalone operating system, enables users to have the files and applications they use on any computer at all times. Its operating system is based on a version of linux that is very easy to use and familiar to many users, while it is supported on PC and Mac computers.
The process is very simple, as all it takes is an available computer. The device connects to a USB port on a closed computer and is ready for use by selecting a boot from yareoid.
You connect it to a USB port on any computer (regardless of whether it is a PC or Mac) and you start the computer. On PC you press F9 or F12 (depending on the manufacturer, it can be F2, F10 or F11 or even ESC when you start the EEE pc) and you choose to boot from USB. On Mac computers you do not have to press a button at startup. It will show you a menu when the computer you choose between MacOS, yareoid or Windows starts up if it is installed on Mac.
If you want to permanently change a PC to boot from USB first, change the sequence in the computer's BIOS.
