The YouTube has many different forms of advertising. Of course the most annoying for most are the ones that can not be bypassed unless 30 seconds have passed.

Yes you rightly read: Google announced that it aims to offer a better viewing experience to its users, adding:
"Ως μέρος αυτής της προσπάθειας, έχουμε αποφασίσει να σταματήσουμε την υποστήριξη στις unskippable διαφημίσεις των 30 δευτερολέπτων από το 2018 και να επικεντρωθούμε σε μορφές που λειτουργούν καλά τόσο τους χρήστες όσο και τους advertisers."
Recognizing that this form of advertising is not very popular, especially among mobile users with expensive mobile phone connections, the company is pushing advertisers to use different ad formats, such as the six-second overlay of 2016 .
The decision does not seem to come at random, as the video streaming landscape has changed dramatically in recent years, and YouTube is no longer the only player.
Instagram and the Facebook have and offer their own video platforms, but there is also competition from various other companies such as vid.me and Rumble.
So to stay competitive, Google seems to have thought about the best end user experience on YouTube, and a good first step will be the future withdrawal of the most aggressive form of advertising it uses.
