For a few days now electronic army of Syria attacked Microsoft News Twitter account, it was revealed that hackers gained access to Twitter accounts from Xbox and Xbox support, along with Xbox's Instagram account, according to GameSpot.

The team of hackers backed by Syrian President Bashar Assad has published its holdings on their Twitter account. The Syrian Electronic Army hackers published "Syrian Electronic Army Was Here" and "Game On!" On Xbox account. Hackers also posted images from Xbox and instagram accounts showing that they gained administrator access.

The Microsoft News account erased the hacker's publications and the company's spokesperson CNET said on Saturday that "the Microsoft is aware of the attacks made against the Xbox Support and Microsoft News Twitter accounts. The were immediately recovered and it was confirmed that no customer information was compromised."

The attacks occurred on Saturday and appeared to have focused primarily on the Microsoft News Twitter account and the company's TechNet blog. THE ς στρατός της Συρίας έγραψε στο λογαριασμό Microsoft news, «Μην χρησιμοποιείτε Microsoft όπως (Hotmail, outlook) διότι πουλάνε τα προσωπικά δεδομένα των χρηστών σε κυβερνήσεις» και  « Syrian Electronic Army Was Here ».

Twitter seems to be the favorite social networking site of the Syrian e-army, having violated major companies and news organizations. On New Year's Eve the accounts were attacked  Twitter and on Skype or Whatsapp and last year violated their Twitter accounts The Onion, the messaging app Viber, The Associated Press, NPR, CBS, The Guardian, The with the BBC and many others.
