A teenager was arrested today in Northern Ireland for attack to the telephone company TalkTalk in the UK last week, according to a a statement by the Metropolitan Police.
The 15-year-old boy was arrested at around 16:00 local time on suspicion of the offense of misuse computer and taken to County Antrim Police Station for questioning.
The arrest comes after its revelation Talk It Infected, saying that a “person or group purporting to be the hacker” had demanded £80,000, or about $122.000 in Bitcoins as a ransom not to leak the stolen information.
A hacker who claims to represent LulzSec has taken responsibility for the DDoS attack on TalkTalk last week, but not for stolen user information as well as blackmail.
It's not entirely clear what attack is related to capture, DDoS or theft.
