Google has acquired SlickLogin, an Israeli company that specializes in developing web-based alternatives. The news came from SlickLogin itself. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The last project of SlickLogin allows to users to connect to specific websites, with a sound from their phone that they have to hold in front of their computer. The project is 6 months old, and has not yet been released as a commercial product.

"Today we can announce that the SlickLogin team will be joining Google." A Google spokesperson confirmed the acquisition of the Israeli company.
The SlickLogin team will join Google's existing research and development center in Israel, and will be part of a security and technology team control ID cards, according to an inside source.
