Windows 10 Free Upgrade: Today's Last Opportunity?

The series continues…. After several extensions of the deadline, January 16 is reportedly the last day for the owners με Windows 7 και 8.1 για δωρεάν αναβάθμιση σε Windows 10 στο πλαίσιο της προσφοράς “βοηθητικών τεχνολογιών”.Windows 10

As we have said in a previous publication January 16th has been (re)set by be the last day to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, from older operating systems.

For the July 2016 story, Microsoft officially completed the Get Windows 10 program, which allowed anyone who ran a supported version of Windows to a free upgrade to Windows 10.

However, the free upgrade offer remained open (artificially, like Kapodistrias' potato fable) to people using technologies s in Windows 7 and 8.1.

Of course did not confirm whether all those upgrading their systems were using support technologies.

Microsoft has recently extended the upgrade offer deadline by January, after the previous one expired (not expiring) on December 31 of 2017.

This free upgrade would obviously have little effect on the absorption of Windows 10 as it did not concern businesses, and those people and small businesses did not upgrade for two years and more are unlikely to do so at the last minute.

In November last year, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 had been installed at around 600 million .

But if there are some who still think about it:

See the upgrade page.

If you need an inexpensive license for Windows 7, or 8 to allow you a free update, read the following publication.
