Google Drive changes design to match Gmail

In case you didn't know, Gmail recently released redesigned by Google UI developers. From now on, Google Drive looks to have a new look that fits Gmail's upgraded design.Google Drive

The company today made one small announcement on the G Suite blog, which describes in detail the update.

Here are the descriptions of Google changes:

The located on the top left has changed with the Google Drive logo.
If you add your own (company) logo, it will now appear in the upper right corner.
The Settings icon has moved along the search bar.
The Help Center icon has moved along the line of the search box.
The background of the page is now white, not gray.
The "New" has been updated.
The font used for the headers has changed.

Google Drive has been using the aesthetic of Material Design for a long time, so the change won't be as dramatic as Gmail.

The lighter, and quieter Material Design will soon be seen in all Google applications. The informed it's still in public distribution, so it may not be visible to many of you yet.

Tip: If you are using G Suite through your company to see changes in the Gmail or Google Drive UI, you will need to contact the platform administrator to allow the changes to appear.
