Apple Data and Privacy: Apple has created a new website for data protection and privacy of its users. The website comes as part of the company's preparation for the upcoming GDPR that will come into effect tomorrow, May 25.
The new Apple page has the tools necessary for its customers to help them see, erase, or download the data the company has collected for them.
The Apple Data and Privacy service is already available in Europe, but the company is expected to make it available globally, following its footsteps Microsoft.
The new Data and private page privacy (Data and Privacy), Apple customers can access everything (or almost everything) that the company has for their account: sign-in files, bookmarks, contacts, documents and photos that have been stored in the Cloud from time to time.
As you can see in the image above, you will also find your app usage statistics, along with a record App Store purchases, as well as your AppleCare support history.
If you request to download your data, you will have to wait until the company prepares your personal package and notifies you of its download. If the archive is large in volume, Apple will split the data into smaller files depending on your settings.
See the new website and ask for your data
