The Debian Development Team has released the fifth point release of Debian 9. In the new Debian 9.5, all the latest patches are included.
So if you have already installed Debian 9 then you do not have to download any of the new ISO, just update your system.
In their announcement, the Debian project he says:
“The Debian project is very pleased to announce the fourth update of the Debian 9 stable distribution (codenamed stretch). The point release mainly adds fixes for themesecurity ones, along with a few tweaks for serious problems. Security patches have already been published separately.”
Some notable packages that have bug-fixing updates included in this release are: anti-virus clamav, the software printing cups and the debian-installer which comes with a slightly newer kernel. The package system flatpack it has also been updated to a newer version.
