The Debian Development Team has released the fifth point release of Debian 9. In the new Debian 9.5, all the latest patches are included.
So if you have already installed Debian 9 then you do not have to download any of the new ISO, just update your system.
In their announcement, the Debian project he says:
“The Debian project is very pleased to announce the fourth update of the Debian 9 stable distribution (codenamed stretch). The point release mainly adds fixes for issues security, along with a few tweaks for serious issues. Security patches have already been published separately.”
Some notable packages that have updates for the resolution bugfixes, included in this release are: clamav anti-virus, cups printing software and debian-installer which comes with a slightly newer kernel. The system packages flatpack it has also been updated to a newer version.
