Facebook Dating: Two months after its announcement productAt the F8 developer conference, Facebook is reportedly testing the new product internally with its employees.
Independent application researcher Jane Manchun Wong, who very often reveals new Facebook features with source code editing, found test data for his new Facebook service and published it on Friday on Twitter.
The company, on the other hand, confirmed in The Verge that the product is tested inside the Facebook application, but declined to comment further.
Facebook allegedly asked its employees to use fake data to create parallel profiles that it plans to delete before the official release of the service.
Let's say Dating on Facebook can be tested internally, but that does not necessarily mean it will be released to the public. Products are often reported on the basis of the information gathered during the tests.
Facebook's launch of such a service would make the company an immediate force in the online romance market. The stock market price of Match Group, which owns popular dating apps (OKCupid and Tinder), fell 17 percent the day Facebook Dating was announced.
As described in the pictures published by Jane Manchun Wong, Facebook Dating will allow you to create a separate profile. When you use the service to view someone else's profile, it will allow you to contact him / her.
The company also describes a feature that will allow you to make your profile visible to people who want to attend the same event as you. The goal, of course, is to create more relationships outside connections.
