Google Maps Location Reporting works great if you want to keep track of where your kids are or to find your friends. But another small addition makes the service much more useful.
From now on when someone tells you your location, Google Maps will not only show you where it is, but it will also show you the status of your phone's battery. 
This way, you will know if your phone is going to stop working and if it stops you will know the reason why it no longer tells about its location.
This feature is already available in the Google Maps for Mobile application and you can try it right away.
