Microsoft is continuing to develop Windows 10, and part of the company's efforts seems to be a new form of quality updates that will be introduced with the release of Redstone 5 (October 2018).
In Windows 10, Microsoft released cumulative updates, which include all previously released fixes in a single package. From technique point of view, installing the latest cumulative update updates the system regardless of whether it was updated in the last month. But in this way the size of cumulative updates grows every month. 
Until February 12 2019, Microsoft will also has the delta updates that only include the changes made since the previous cumulative updates, providing updated systems with a smaller package that can be installed quickly.
But to make updates even faster, Microsoft will present a new type of updates by Redstone 5. These updates will be different in three ways: they will be smaller in size, simpler to manage, and redistributable.
New updates will continue to be released through Windows Update and Microsoft says that companies will have many other benefits.
