Facebook Dating is now a reality. Four months later his announcement from company, the social network said today that it has begun testing the new dating service in Colombia. 
At first glance, Facebook Dating is very similar to competitor Hinge. Both seem to be moving away from the popular Tinder model to ask users to answer some questions that help you start conversations based on a person's profile.
"Dating is a behavior we've been looking at on Facebook for a long time," Facebook product manager Nathan Sharp told The Verge. "We want to make it easier for people to participate. We thought that now was the right time. "
Facebook Dating exists entirely within the Facebook mobile app. Will not be available as an application for the Desktops. If you want to find it you will need to click on the hamburger menu (☰). THE service it's only available to users over 18, it's free and it doesn't (yet) contain ads. If you choose not to use the service you will not participate in Facebook Dating. If you do, you'll be prompted to create a separate Dating Profile that includes some of your more personal details data.
In addition to your name and the age transferred from your Facebook profile, you will be asked to write a short introduction to your profile that describes who you are and what you are looking for.
Your profile will include some photos, as well as answers to Facebook questions such as "how is your perfect day?"
You can upload up to nine photos and answers to iOS 12 on Android. Photos can come from your camera, photos uploaded to Facebook, or Instagram photos. For more security in impersonation attempts, you should also allow your Facebook location to be displayed through your phone's GPS.
