The Windows 10 nightmare never ends. After the failed October 2018 update (version 1809) Microsoft released a cumulative update that causes BSOD (blue screen) on HP computers.
The cumulative update of Windows 4464330 KB10 for 1809 as well as KB4462919 for April (1803 version) forced two HP systems to fall into a never-ending routine, resulting in a blue screen (BSOD) without an easy return method regular function.
Microsoft has already acknowledged the bug and said it is working with it Hewlett-Packard for her delivery of a fix, but so far the respective KB pages of the two updates have not been updated with information about this issue.
The official update details of KB4464330 and KB4462919 indicate that they do not cause problems for Windows 10 devices, although it is now clear that things are not so rosy.
The observation was initiated by Windows users who had machineeyes of HP and posted in this thread on the Microsoft Community Forum that many of the HP systems have been affected by the issue after installing these updates (To view the thread you will need to fill in a random name, that doesn't already exist in their database, without having to confirm details)
Discussions in the forum show that only a limited number of HP PCs with Windows 10 version 1809 will likely be affected by the problem, mainly because this particular version of the operating system has been temporarily withdrawn and not all of HP has been informed. The error also exists in the April 2018 Update, which now runs at almost 90 percent of all Windows 10 devices.
Microsoft has not provided any other information about a possible fix and an update that will correct the update problem (!!!), although it is self-evident that the company should work as much as possible to solve the issue as much as possible sooner. At this time, removing unwanted updates seems to be the only way for the affected users to progress.
