It will be wearing the latest Cinnamon 4.0. The distribution of course like any information it will bring many additional improvements to other parts of the operating system as well.
The official announcement reads as follows:
Cinnamon 4.0 will look much more modern thanks to a new layout on the panel. Whether you use the new look or the old look, we want you to feel right at home in your new operating system. You'll have the option to change the desktop environment version with one click, and you'll be able to make Cinnamon exactly as it was before.
So according to the developers you will have the opportunity to choose between the traditional panel or the modern look. The modern version of the panel includes the following icons and features:
Icons on 40px
Icons for 24px for the system tray
and the windows will be grouped according to the application
In addition to all of the above regarding the emergence of the upcoming operating system, the development team also added support for mainline kernels within Update Manager.
