Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.6

Red Hat, the recently acquired by IBM, has announced a new version of the operating system (RHEL) 7.6.

This will be the latest distribution update for bare-metal, virtual, containers, private and public clouds servers. Red Hat Enterprise

As usual, the new version brings various security improvements, but also a completely new "Trusted Platform Module":

Security remains a constant, basic for us and complex hybrid and multi-locked environments do not facilitate it. To better address these security needs, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 brings the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 as part of Network Bound Disk Encryption (NBDE).
The drives are safer, of course: The network-based mechanism (NBDE) provides security in network environments while the TPM works on the spot to add an extra layer of security by connecting the drives to specific systems.

The new version offers easier of firewalls with nftables improvements.
