Red Hat, the company recently acquired by IBM, has announced a new version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.6.
This will be the last update of the distribution targeting bare-metal, virtual, containers, private and public insurance cloud servers.

The drives are safer, of course: The network-based mechanism (NBDE) provides security in network environments while the TPM works on the spot to add an extra layer of security by connecting the drives to specific systems.The new version offers easier management of firewalls with improvements to nftables.
