Remote work (remote work) on a large scale, the OTE Group starts from Monday 16/3, protecting its people and contributing to the national effort to slow down the spread of coronavirus COVID-2019 in our country.
The aim is for at least 13.000 (80%) of the total of 16.000 people working for the Group to gradually work remotely. The form of the remote work it will depend on the work they are doing. Utilizing technology, OTE Group has ensured that even with remote work, it will continue to offer its customers its high-level telecommunication services seamlessly.
In addition, the company has recommended to its employees to reduce their personal travel and meetings to the absolutely necessary, for the better safety their own but also that of our fellow human beings.
In a letter to all the staff of the Group, the President and CEO of the OTE Group, Mr. Michalis Tsamaz, states in this regard:
