It remains unclear how users were infected with the malicious Coronavirus Tracker application, but DomainTool, the company that first revealed it, says the campaign does not appear to have spread widely. In any case, the above number will be very useful to some.
As we mentioned in previous publication, some users are taking advantage of the coronavirus pandemic to spread malware. Indeed, they have appeared domains with names related to the coronavirus and apparently are 50% more likely to infect your system than any other domain.
