Microsoft has released a new application called News Bar, which is essentially a news ticker that can be applied to the Windows 10 desktop.
The application exists in Microsoft Store and is currently currently in beta stage. The application is also available for Greece, and we mention it because it is not yet released for all countries.
Microsoft says that the News Bar app is essentially a thread news which lets you read the latest news, track stocks, and more, while some basic options like hiding the bar for a certain time when you're working are also available.
"The News Bar brings you the latest news from the Microsoft News network, which includes over 4500 of the most well-known journalism sources in the world. In addition, you can configure it to provide you with up-to-date information on the shares you are monitoring, ”explains Microsoft in the description of the application.
"Microsoft Windows News Bar works just like the Taskbar of Microsoft Windows. It's there when you need it, where you need it and how you need it. Adjust its appearance from settings for an experience that's right for you. If you want to focus somewhere else, don't worry, you can minimize the News Bar at any time and then bring it back up when you're ready again.”
To install the application the device must be running Windows 10 in version 1803 (April 2018 Update) or a newer version.
The application is free and can be used on tablets without a mouse.
