Debian 9.13 is now available for download as the latest update for the version 9, which is also known as Stretch. As always, the changelog reports software improvements and security fixes.
Needless to say, this is a point release and the Debian team emphasizes that this is the final (latest) update of the 9 series, which means that you should upgrade to the Debian 10 version as soon as possible.
"After this release, the Debian Security and Release Teams will no longer develop updates for Debian 9. Users who wish to continue receiving security updates should upgrade στην Debian 10 ή να ανατρέξουν στη address https://wiki.debian.org/LTS for details on the subset of the architectures and packages covered by the Long Term Support project, ”says the development team.
The new release includes important bug fixes and security improvements, such as patching for memory corruption issues and memory leaks. It also fixes bugs connections in TLS 1.2 that some users experienced when trying to connect to certain hosting providers.
