The huge truck ship Ever Given has been stuck for nearly a week in the Suez Canal, captivating the Internet and frustrating the groups responsible for its removal.
The ship (Evergreen) has become so picturesque, that it became a destination in Microsoft Flight Simulator, at least for a virtual pilot who seems to have created a mod that brought the ship into the virtual world of the game.
Twitter user Mat Velloso shared a TikTok video, which was originally recorded and uploaded by the user “donut_enforcement”. The video shows a flyby of the freighter in a convincing pilot narrative as it sits stuck between the canal banks. The scene looks very realistic which is a testament to the quality of the mod as well as the demanding ones graphics of Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Of course, there is nothing stopping developer Asobo from updating the game with newer satellite images to include the ship for all players as there are many such photos taken in the last six days.
However, considering the game derives from its Bing Maps images and doesn't always refresh on time, you probably won't see Ever Given, except if you can modify it like in the video above.
