Microsoft will start its official availability Windows 10 Creators Update on April 11, and of course it will be an important moment for the company and its customers, as it is the second major release after Anniversary Update.
But there are too many who are wondering what's going to happen after the release of Windows 10 Creators Update, mainly because Microsoft has not mentioned anything about its long-term plans for Windows 10.
However, with the Build conference coming up this spring, we're sure to learn more of that information, though we already know a couple characteristics for the upcoming release of the upcoming update.
The next major release after Windows 10 Creators Update (internally codenamed Redstone 2) is, of course, Redstone 3.
Redstone 3 development is rumored to have already started behind Microsoft's closed doors and the first build has already been spotted online. But nothing is official and details have not been leaked yet.
What we know, however, is Microsoft's strategy that has two different OS versions each year. So in addition to Creators Update, we will see a second version in 2017.
Coded as Redstone 3, the next update of Windows 10 is expected to make its autumn debut, and although we know a lot, rumors say Microsoft is working on a new shell as well as on a virtual makeover called project NEON.
Sources say Microsoft plans to release 10 in 3 1711 3, which means we could see it in November. Obviously, however, it is too early to discuss the Redstone XNUMX release time.
On the other hand, the first build for Insiders is likely to be released right after the release of the Creator Update. Of course, as you all know, we will not see major changes in the first build. The most important improvements and changes are expected in the summer.
