The story of her hack Sony has led to confusion with mass-traffic announcements on the internet. Leaks appear to be endless since the first release, and then too much data has been revealed, with most of them appearing in the last week.
While it is still not known who or who is behind Sony Pictures' hack, the FBI is trying to locate the source of the leaks. Below is a timeline of what happened to Sony and what we know so far.

29 November: Variety reports that the Sony Pictures hack could be related to the release of “The Interview,” a Seth Rogen comedy about theme the assassination of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Reuters reports that North Korea has threatened Sony Pictures with "merciless retaliation" if the film is released.
1th December: Release torrents with unreleased Sony Pictures movies. The films "Annie", "Mr. Turner ”,“ Still Alice ”and“ To Write Love on Her Arms ”scheduled for 2015 are available on popular file sharing sites. Sony Pictures is working with the FBI to find the attackers.
2 December: The first data leak from GOPs appears on a text-sharing website. The first leak contained financial information from the company's staff, including the salaries of many senior executives inside Sony.

4 December: A very large leak with marketing slide decks appeared online. Sony details on upcoming movie releases, how it will market them, and other related products.
5 December: The attackers threatened Sony Pictures employees via email, but the GOP team later denied in a leak that it was behind the threat.
7 December: North Korean officials deny involvement in the attack, but praise the invaders for their actions. Sony issued an internal note calling the attack "unprecedented" and "unique enough to make the FBI warn other agencies."

Sony Pictures executives' e-mails were released on Steve Jobs's canceled movie.
10 December: Reports want Sony Pictures to try to disrupt torrent downloads by creating fake "seeds" that overload the torrent clients of those trying to download the company's movies.
11 December: Verge reports that Sony Pictures has been hacked since February.
December 12: Fusion reports that if you download Sonny Pictures data you could find the FBI on your door. Recode also said the company was aware of the security gaps before the attack.
The Verge reveals a massive enterprise called "Project Goliath" that used Google as a means of curbing piracy. After constant pressure from the MPAA despite tremendous progress, Google refused to work with them.
