A big legal barrier has managed to overcome Amazon today. In the future, the company will be able to market its products with drones or with mini unmanned aircraft such as the Greek term. The FAA eventually granted the company a pilot license (pilot certificate of airworthiness) for the drones used in its delivery.
The company from today will be able to use unmanned aircraft during the day, under 400 feet, provided meteorological conditions allow the visibility of the boat. This is a prerequisite for amazon pilots to have line-of-sight visuals with unmanned aircraft.
According to the test certificate issued, Amazon is required to provide monthly flight data to the FAA. Monthly data will include the number of flights, pilots' time, hardware and software malfunctions, deviations from air traffic controller instructions, or loss of control of dronnes.
It seems that the FAA regulations are too strict, but Amazon has acquired the first product license for unmanned aircraft.
