A major legal hurdle was cleared by Amazon today. In the future the company will be able to trade the products της με drones ή με μίνι μη επανδρωμένα αεροσκάφη όπως είναι ο Ελληνικός όρος. Η FAA τελικά χορήγησε στην εταιρεία μια πειραματική άδεια (πειραματικό πιστοποιητικό αξιοπλοΐας) για τα drones used in its delivery.
The company from today will be able to use the unmanned aircraft during duration of the day, below 400 feet provided weather conditions permit visibility of the vessel. This is a prerequisite for Amazon drone pilots to have line-of-sight contact with the drones.
Under the pilot certificate granted, Amazon is required to provide monthly flight data to the FAA. Monthly data will include number of flights, time excerciseς καθηκόντων των πιλότων, δυσfunctions hardware and software, deviations from the instructions of the air traffic controllers or the loss of any control of the drones.
It seems that the FAA regulations are too strict, but Amazon has acquired the first product license for unmanned aircraft.
