H Anomos is a pseudonym service, and an encrypted multi-file sharing protocolpeer-to-peer. It is based on BitTorrent's peer/tracker concept combined with a Tor anonymity routing layer, with the added benefit of end-to-end encryption.
By combining these technologies, the Anomos development team has created a platform where no one will be able to receive any information about who the peers are or who is downloading, except for trusted trackers.
The software Anomos is designed to be easy to use – even for those who don't even know what kind of security it provides. Those who are already familiar with BitTorrent should not do anything different, except use “atorrent” files instead of “torrent” files.
More technical details are available on this blog. It is a bit obsolete as the final protocol is still under active development. Soon, a complete guide to the Anomos protocol will be released. The FAQ can give some answers to any questions you may have.
The source code is available at Git repository.
