At the end of April, the members of Anonymous hacker collective announced the launch of OnionIRC, an Internet Relay Chat network where the group teaches the world about hacking and hacktivism.
Since the service's inception, the team has delivered tutorials on all sorts of topics, ranging from how to use tools like nmap and bash to tricks with OSINT. Most of these courses are available at Internet like chat logs, in the account @OnionIRC on Twitter.
But if you think these were the only things taught the participants are wrong. Teachers and those involved in this campaign were more focused on promoting the principles of hacktivism. The network OnionIRC it's just an Anonymous IRC where the next generation of hacktivists is trained.
If you want to connect to this network, do the following steps. The connection is through the Tor Browser and the HexChat IRC client:
Step 1: Download them Tor Browser and HexChat.
Step 2: Open HexChat and click ADD (Add). You can leave the fields in the section for the first time Login Method (Login Method), After logging in to IRC, for the first time, be sure to enter an ID.

Step 3: Open the Tor browser, and make sure it stays open for all the year you are in OnionIRC. In the choice Settings (Settings) of HexChat, go to Network (Network), and then select Network Setup (Network Setup).
Here you will set up a proxy server with the details from the image below. Remember that every time you close the Tor browser, these will be deleted settings, and that you will have to redo them again. That's it, you're done. Connect with OnionIRC.
