Αμέσως μετά τις τρομοκρατικές επιθέσεις στο Παρίσι, Anonymous κήρυξαν διαδικτυακό πόλεμο στο ISIS. Μέχρι χθες, η ομάδα είχε ήδη συγκεντρώσει στοιχεία πάνω από 5.500 λογαριασμών μελών του ISIS στο Twitter, και όπως φαίνεται μόλις διέρρευσαν στο Internet, via news channels.
The move to leak data through news channels, instead of publishing it on some independent websiteσελίδα like the Pastebin they used to use, it's a new strategy from Anonymous, who seem to be learning from their mistakes.
Because in previous doxings the group had published wrong data about innocent people people or the persons who had anything to do with the causes of the doxings, the group decided to release the data it collected to the press, thinking that journalists would check for its reliability.
According to the website The Independent, a reporter contacted the group and received a list of names of several ISIS members along with other personal information.
Some of the list names are identified as active ISIS fighters in Europe.
It is not yet known whether the data given to Independent journalists is the same as that published on the #opIceISIS group website.
