The General Manager of the Ansys company met with the President of EKEFE Dimokritos, Giorgos Nunesi in Greece, Babis Bakolias, in order to complete the process of donating a laboratory of measuring instruments for microelectronic integrated circuit devices (microchips). The instrument, which is an integrated high-precision measurement station, can be used for performance characterization measurements of microchip prototypes at laboratory level. 
One of its important advantages is that it also provides the possibility of parallel measurements for mass characterization of circuits, which makes it useful also at the level of industrial production. The equipment will significantly expand the limits of the experiments that can be carried out by EKEFE Demokritos and the collaborating university community. At the same time, it gives the possibility for the first time to the Greek languages Companies σχεδίασης τσιπ να ελέγχουν τη λειτουργία του προϊόντος τους στην Ελλάδα, με υψηλών προδιαγραφών εξοπλισμό, ο οποίος ήταν έως τώρα availables exclusively from laboratories abroad.
In the context of the meeting, Mr. Nunesis: "A big thank you to Ansys for its donation to Democritus. In the immediate future we look forward to systematic, productive collaborations in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Science and Quantum Computing".
