Antergos is a modern, elegant and powerful operating system system based on Arch Linux. It was launched under the name Cinnarch, combining the Cinnamon desktop with the Arch Linux distribution.
Since then the project has progressed from its initial goals and offers several different desktop options, including: GNOME 3 (default), Cinnamon, Razor-qt and Xfce. Antergos has its own graphics program installations.
The operating system, like all Arch Linux forks, is not suitable for beginners users on Linux. If you have already worked with Linux, (even with Ubuntu or Mint) you will not have much difficulty.
As mentioned above Antergos has its own Cnchi graphical installer. The boot of the installer is done in one surface GNOME desktop, but during installation it gives the options to choose between several different desktops such as: GNOME 3, Cinnamon, Mate, KDE, Xfce and Openbox.
The network connection is required to start the installation as before it is automatically updated the Cnchi installation program.
