Apple wants to teach you through your photos

New Apple patent! How often have you taken photos with your friends and family at gatherings, and how many times have you heard: "Don't forget to send them to me!"?

There are several ways to do this: one through personal messages, or send an email containing attachments and everyone chooses his own.

There is also a third way through an automated process based on facial recognition. The feature is not yet available, but it is like Apple's patent as reported by AppleInsider.facereg Apple

Let us remind that the χρησιμοποιήθηκε στο παρελθόν από το and the European Union supervisory authorities did not like the fact that much.

The new feature sounds very practical and surely many would like it installed on their.

But let's see how it works, because at iGuRu.gr we have an allergy to the specific function.

Basically by using face recognition, the software can determine who is in every photo you have in your system. What does this mean;

Send and receive from your computer to servers on the internet.

If you let the app access your personal , then all your files are sent to and analyzed by Apple's servers.

Then you will be able to send your photos to people identified by Apple who are in your contacts.

That sounds very practical because when you send a folder with too many photos from different people, the Apple algorithm will recognize the faces and send to each one its own.

Imagine the amount of personal data that this feature needs:

Contacts, name, emails, face features and who knows what else. Of course, you can add fingerprints that Touch ID collects to all of this.

The patent also describes how the system will be able to "learn" new faces over time, thus allowing users to create a database for future use of the sharing.

But to create a database, Apple must have it first.
