Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom: At the Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas is Asus, which officially announced its new smartphone ZenFone 3 Zoom with powerful features in camera and a huge battery. The device was billed as a smartphone that was “made for photography.”
The device features a dual camera at the back with a main 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor and 1.4 μm pixel size.
The second camera on the back is called by Zoom Camera and 12MP with 12x total and 2.3x and optical zoom.
Asus claims that SuperPixel technology on the main camera adds 2,5 times more light sensitivity than the iPhone 7 Plus.
In fact, the dual camera on the back can be compared to the one with Apple's latest smartphone, assuming it has approximately the same zoom principles.
Η installation The dual camera also comes with laser assisted autofocus, phase detection autofocus, and Portrait Mode which adds “natural depth of field.” The latter feature according to the company will be available at a later date after some software update.
The smartphone's front camera features a 13MP Sony IMX214 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and has a flash screen.
The device also features an 5,5-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, a huge battery on 5,000mAh, a fingerprint scanner on the back and 4GB RAM with 128 GB storage. The smartphone runs with an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC along with the Adreno 506 GPU. Its operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Asus Zen 3.0 UI.
Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom will be released in three colors, black, rose gold and silver as of February 2017. Pricing for the device was not announced.
