Asus Zenphone VR: Qualcomm leaked the next Google Tango

Asus Zenphone VR: Project Tango is Google's biggest and most exciting effort in the space s of AR. Simply put, it has the ability to display augmented reality, with highly sophisticated and immersive AR applications.

So far, there is only one Project Tango device. ambitious but not very satisfactory Phab 2 Pro from Lenovo, which debuted at the end of last year. Asus Zenphone VR

But Qualcomm has just leaked the next device: Meet the Asus Zenphone VR.

It was supposed to be announced at CES starting this week, but Qualcomm didn't wait. The manufacturer published a blog post (now deleted) detailing them of the upcoming device.

According to Qualcomm, the Asus Zenphone VR comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 . The same processor runs inside the Google Pixel and the Asus Zenphone 3.

According to the maker, the device comes with Daydream and Tango, and will support Google Street View Daydream VR, but also other services such as YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and HBO. For gamers the news is amazing as it will also support games such as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Need for Speed, and Gunjack 2.

Earlier today Blass Evan of VentureBeat or “evleaks” as he is known, also published a photo of the device.
So when Asus officially puts the phone later this week, it's unlikely that there will be any surprises.

Certainly, however, CES 2017's biggest trade event will not disappoint us. Just Asus missed the opportunity with this device.
