Από τότε που κυκλοφόρησε (πριν από τρία χρόνια) ο επεξεργαστής κειμένου Atom (Atom text editor) του GitHub ήταν μια τρομερή application open source for developers, along with other favorite cross-platform applications such as Sublime Text.
If not useste already, you might be more interested now that it supports collaboration with other apps and other developers in real time.
New mode of the Atom text editor, Teletype lets you collaborate with other developers on a project to write or edit code simultaneously with individual cursors and zero latency.
GitHub says you will be able to use your own key bindings, packages and themes while working with Teletype, so you will not feel that you are using someone else's IDE. The company also reports that your data is being transferred through encrypted peer-to-peer connections, so you should not worry about tracking what you write in your code.
The app is still in beta, so it doesn't include some related features that could make collaboration easier, like a chat window so you can discuss changes and additions with team you in the same application.
Hopefully this feature will be added in the future.
With the introduction of Teletype and the integration into Git and GitHub, the Atom text editor is a great choice for developers of various disciplines.
You can try it instantly downloading the installer from here, along with the Teletype package from this page.
