A group of cyber criminals are trying to lure Twitter users of Facebook, Instagram and Outlook with websites Phishing. Take a look at the tweets and the ρhishing websites that scammers spread.
It appears that scammers are using hacked Twitter accounts and posting messages designed to lure unsuspecting users to phishing websites.
According to Softpedia for each different phish type, another message is used. A typical tweet that points to a rhishing website that looks like Instagram says something like this:
“Get new followers and likes on Instagram for FREE! I used and know this application and it works. No fake users :) [link] ”
The messages addressed to Facebook users state "omfg facebook in colors [link]."
The same continues to happen with messages for others services like Outlook and they always lead to some phishing website.
When someone from Twitter clicks on the links, Facebook, Outlook or Instagram login pages are presented. It would be best not to make the mistake of providing your details on these pages. Username and Password it goes straight into the hands of fraudsters.
It is noteworthy that Inhagram's phishing websites seem to appeal to users who speak French.
