The BackBox Linux είναι μια διανομή βασισμένη στο Ubuntu που χρησιμοποιείται για ratings security and penetration testing.
The project was just released in a new stable version, BackBox Linux 5. The new version upgrades key distribution components and fixes many bugs.
“The BackBox team is pleased to announce the updated version of BackBox Linux 5. It took us a long time due to several development difficulties, but we worked hard and overcame them. In this major release we made some structural changes, egslowwe took the outdated tools and added new ones.”
The ISO images for 32-bit architectures and 64-bit exist at the end of the post.
What's new:
New Linux 4.8 Kernel, and updated hacking tools Metasploit, OpenVAS, SE Toolkit, sqlmap, WPScan.
Anyone who uses older versions (BackBox 4.x) can upgrade to the latest version instead of doing a new one installation.
