The agreement will be effective from the fall, when the new operating system is expected to be released system for smartphones BlackBerry 10.3, and which can support platform-based applications Android.
According to Reuters, the deal will allow the Canadian BlackBerry to sell consumer apps to its devices while it can focus on creating applications that are more business and productive.

It is worth noting that the operating system BlackBerry 10 was designed to support apps built for Google's Android operating system. However, Google never licensed its use Play Store, its own online application store, for use on BlackBerry devices.
